Greenwood Social Hall after an evening event…no AI used here - it really is that beautiful, in both daytime and at night! ;)
We are excited to invite you to a day of singing (Singing September!) and vocal play at Greenwood Social Hall (pictured here, and located at 1750 Belleview Ave, 2nd floor, KCMO) on Saturday, September 19th, from 11am to 4pm.
Singing September will start with our usual song circle, have a break for lunch, and then we will resume in the afternoon with somatic vocal expression and play to get us into our bodies, vocal improvisation and circle singing (which is different from a singing circle!), group harmonization (aka choral-style singing), and an introduction to polyphonic overtone singing.
If you would like to know more about overtone singing, here is a link to Kristi vocalizing with overtones: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8ywADYeo8o
