Thanks to all those who attended the first of these monthly recurring virtual gatherings! We'll meet on a monthly basis moving forward and each one will have a slightly different "flavor" depending on who facilitates! See you soon!
Basic information:
The word "Sangha" is a Sanskrit word meaning "community" "organization", or "assembly". This series of monthly virtual gatherings is an opportunity to come together and lift our voices and hearts in sacred sound (mantras, medicine music, etc.), conscious movement, and meditation, with time at the end to discuss related news and events from our respective global communities.
A Warm Welcome to Our Co-facilitators:
We will be welcoming special guests Diane Rogers, a yoga instructor, as well as Matt DeCapo on percussion and Ashish Jain on harmonium.
In addition to meditation led by Kristi, Diane will guide us through a series of gentle yoga poses for relaxation and to warm up the body for singing, while Matt and Ashish will collaborate with Kristi (the event organizer) to play the mantras we will chant in call and response (kirtan) style.
What would you like to experience in these sessions?
Please note that this is not a class and is instead a gathering among friends, as well as a true co-creation! I hope that you will bring your ideas and invite others who you think would be interested! 🤗❤️🥰
Wontanara! (We are one) ☮️
The event is donation-based. Please register on Eventbrite to obtain the link to log in.
Much love,
Kristi
